Lohrville – Brandi Nikayle Makinson, 13, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at her home.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 31 at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with Rev. Betty Weidert
officiating and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Lohrville.

Makinson was born October 18, 1996 at Des Moines, Iowa to Heather Makinson. She attended Southern Cal School where she
enjoyed participating in volleyball, basketball, and was the track
manager. She was a smart student who
enjoyed school and loved hanging out with her friends and kids she knew. She enjoyed animals, especially her dog, Mercaydies. Brandi
was a quick-witted person who was hilarious and she liked to make up songs or
raps about different things going on around her.
Brandi is survived by her
mother, Heather Makinson of Lohrville;
brothers, Brandon, Landon and Jaydon Makinson all of Lohrville;
grandmother, Sue Henry of Fort Dodge; aunts Megan Olson and Shannon (Emigdio) Valeriano all of Fort
Dodge; and several cousins; close friends, Jim and Robert Short and Jon Meek;
father, Billy Kloss of Fort Dodge; and many, many
friends. She was preceded in death by
her grandfather, Richard Makinson;
great-grandmothers, Flavia Weilenman
and Francis Olson; and great-grandfather, Kenneth Hansen.
