Lake City – Faith
Hutchings, 80, died Friday, April 4, 2008 at Shady Oaks Care Center. Private family services will be held at a
later date. Faith is survived by her
son, Fred (Susan) Kraack of Coon Rapids, MN; granddaughter,
Samantha Kraack of Coon Rapids, MN; sister, Dolly
(Bud) Stout of Lake City, Iowa; and sister-in-law, Flossie Hoffman of Lake
City. She was preceded in death by her
parents, and two brothers, Paul Lasher and Ralph Spencer. Faith LaVonn
Hutchings was born October 21, 1927 in Carroll, Iowa to parents, Glen Lasher
and Edith Hauptman. She worked in
factories in California for many years and returned to Lake City in the 70’s. Faith enjoyed playing cards with her family
and friends, and loved to shop, often requiring help to carry in her
purchases. Faith also enjoyed taking
rides to look at wildlife. Condolences may be sent to
