Jefferson – Zeta Bradley, 88, formerly of Lake City, died Monday, July 9, 2018 at Regency Park Nursing Home in Jefferson. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Lake City Union Church in Lake City with burial in the Lanesboro Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City is assisting the family.
Zeta Irene (Hamilton) Bradley was born on September 5, 1929 to Chester and Ruby (Jones) Hamilton in Auburn, Iowa. She married Warren Dale Bradley on May 1, 1949. To that union was born two daughters, Jane Ann Friedel (Kenneth) of Mediapolis, Minnesota and Jana Rae Hinote (Tom) of Jefferson, Iowa. She was later blessed with 7 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Zeta loved her church, her card clubs, quilting and the Hospital Auxiliary. Her friends were very special to her and she lived for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as you could tell by the many pictures she would share when you visited her. Her many nieces and nephews were loved greatly also.
Zeta was preceded in death by her husband Warren, parents Chester and Ruby Hamilton, father- and mother-in-law Clyde and Anna Bradley, brothers Earl (Kay) Hamilton, Leonard (Arlene) Hamilton, and Marvin Hamilton, sisters Dorothy Mohr (Lester) and Viola Heim (Harold) and brother-in-law Melvin Bradley. In addition to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren Zeta is also survived by her brother-in-law Marion and his wife Carol Bradley of Arizona.
