Carroll – Beulah Humm, 98, died Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Hawkeye Care Center in Carroll. Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 31st at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with Pastor Blake Armstrong and Pastor Paul Buschmann officiating and burial was in the Lanesboro Cemetery.
Beulah Rebecca (Young) Humm was born on April 9, 1919, in Troy, Kansas to Albert Ross and Sadie (Barnhill) Young. On February 26, 1937, she married Harold Humm in Troy, Kansas. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Lohrville, Helping Hands in Lohrville and the Lanesboro Garden Club. Beulah enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, cooking, canning and gardening.
Beulah is survived by her daughters Elsie (Lewis) Armstrong of Platte City, MO, Twila (Larry) Beckman of Carroll, and Nola (Sam) Newbanks of Carroll, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ross and Sadie Young, husband Harold, brothers, Shirl, Raymond and Conrad Young, and sister Sophia Perkins.
